Arsenal having made headway last weekend completely messed it up in mid week. Have to say I doubt their calibre now, too many slip ups against mediocre teams already (eg west ham:)) ). A bit worrying. I thought they had some bad luck in earlier matches but too many recent cock ups suggest they don't have enough grit.

Roy Keane's motto when MU captain is something Arsenal could bear in mind: "Match them for effort and our class will tell". Arsenal definately have the class but do they have the effort to beat the lesser teams.

Well its hard to deny they have had some opportunities missed recently SP. One or two is forgivable, but 3 suggests they don't have it. But like the end of last season, they can go on a run at any time and thats what they need to do now to make sure MU and Chelsea do not disappear over the horion. I hope they keep in touch, I'm an arsenal fan this season just because I backed them, but I have to say in paying more attention to them, I am now really beginning to enjoy watching them. The Burnley result worried me though.

Roy Keane is, was and will always be a coont of the highest order so nobody gives the arse the time of day.

On this form, Liverpool will soon be down there with them!!! Fair play to Pompey, but WHAT THE F**K?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I just don't get it, Alsonso was not the key man last year, yes a good player, but how can we go from one point off of the top, to this?

Don't know what to say, don't know what to suggest, just know we look f**ked.

    • I was just in Japan and yes can confirm it's a lot cheaper than here. The flight was pricy, as was some of the accommodation. However, once there everything else was dirt cheap. We had some really nice meals at £5-6 for a main, though you can obviously pay a lot more. Beer/wine/coffee were often around £2. Public transport was great value - £3.50 for a day pass on the Tokyo metro which is massive, albeit more if you want to use the overground lines. We didn't do much shopping but Uniqlo (obviously a Japanese chain) was around 40% cheaper than here, plus a bit more if you go tax free. It is I imagine a lot easier for the non-Japanese speaker than in the 1980s. I survived for two weeks with little more than "thank you" and "cheers". Most people we dealt with in shops/restaurants/hotels spoke some English, and signs/announcements/ticket machines often have English translations.
    • Another positive review for Simeon, friendly, prompt and professional.
    • I don't blame him..I'd love to live in Lewes! Shame its so pricy tho.
    • As mentioned above, one needs to request TW specifically in writing to be witch to metered paying system, they will not do it automatically despite forcefully installed water meter. From our experience, we benefited a lot by switching, even with watering our small garden occasionally.
