Hi Kristymac1

My best friend is moving to Ibiza this month :(

I'm planning on heading out there too for half term.....for part of the week anyway.

I shall let you know if she has any ideas/info....she hasn't got children but I'm bringing my 5 year old son so was going to look into this myself.

Ibiza is a great destination for families (in spite of what the general perception might be!), especially in late September and October when it's cooler and the club season has finished.

We've been going for years, including with our 2 little 'uns.

You could stay practically anywhere, but if you're going to avoid anywhere, I guess it should be San Antonio - it's the least family friendly.

Santa Eularia is great for restaurants. The East Coast is best for lots of beaches and proximity to big towns (Sta Eularia, Ibiza etc).

South coast (eg San Jose / Josep / Joseph) esp Cala Vadella are great beaches with views of Es Vedra and beach side restaurants with good food.

North Coast a bit remote with fewer beaches, but more fishing villages etc.

If you need more info but a slightly biased point of view (I think Ibiza is a terrific spot) let me know.

PS the dj in djfitz is not disc jockey ;)

    • Local councillors,  over the many years that the boards have been installed, have rarely updated them. Details of councillors surgeries were posted by party supporters.
    • If you speak to the reception you should be able to get a free gym induction as part of your membership. Not enough people actually get guidence on how to use the equipment properly and therefore either don't get the best out of it or injure themselves. After the refurb I booked an induction so I learnt how to adjust the new equipment because despite attending there for about 10years I was used to the old machines and equipment and at my age (64) I really did'nt want to faff around not knowing how adjust things correctly. As regards advance booking classes I know for sure you used to be able to book a class 10days in advance but not sure about 2 weeks. Good luck in the gym!
    • Wtf. The word in Greek is the “n” word for Black women. Why would someone open a business under this name? People should boycott instead of commenting on food.
    • Good on you for doing something rather than some who would prefer to complain about what others are doing.  Enjoyed the read and look forward to seeing more of the meals from the area.   There's are some great substack newsletters out there for local news and exploration. Love to see it.
