Recommending a wonderful childminder

We're leaving London this summer, so my daughter's wonderful childminder will have space for a baby/child from June. Her name is Jill, and she's looked after my daughter from the age of 10 months to almost 3 years old. Jill has 30 years experience as a childminder, and it really shows. She has taught my daughter so much, and has been a really positive influence on how she's growing up.

Jill looks after children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, from 8am to 6pm, including school holidays. She is based in Nunhead, a short walk from Nunhead Green. She doesn't cook the childrens' lunch or dinner - parents provide a packed hot or cold lunch (which I liked, so I knew what my daughter was eating). She has a lovely garden which the kids play out in all summer, and she takes them on little day trips to soft play, or singing classes etc.

  Another big thumbs up for Will from me. I've had bass lessons with Will over the past year after a 30 year break, and they've been great. He approached our lessons from a songwriting perspective, which was perfect for my needs. I played bass in a band for a few years in the 1990s but never really knew what I was doing. A year with Will has given me a far better understanding of music theory and how bass relates to other instruments in a band. Thank you Will!

  Hi How about finding a neighbour with a cat and arranging reciprical cat feeding? I have always found that as long as they are fed once or twice a day cats are fine on their own for 2 or 3 weeks. Much better than they would be in a cattery.

  A fair amount hangs on SCOTUS in the coming days. Will they prop up Trump's powers under Executive Orders or choose to support Congress? Some of the Judges are clearly corrupt but perhaps others, like Coney Barrett, will grow a conscience.
