Hi everyone,

My name is Martin, and I'm a research assistant at Kings College. I'm currently recruiting volunteers for a study looking at different patterns of brain activity between people who meditate and people who don't. Right now I'm looking for control participants (i.e. people who DON'T meditate) to take part. You only need to be right handed and available for a couple of hours on either a Tuesday or a Thursday, though unfortunately due to the equipment we use I cannot test people with dreadlocks or afro hairstyles, sorry!

The study involves the use of EEG, a completely non-invasive and painless procedure that allows us to record brain activity through the scalp. It involves wearing a cap with some electrodes attached to it and the application of a small amount of gel (which can easily be washed out).

If you are interested in helping out with scientific research (and also seeing what your brain looks like when it is thinking!) or would like to know more please get in touch either by replying to this post, or emailing me at [email protected]. To sweeten the deal I can also compensate you ?15 for your time.

Thanks!

Martin
