Hi I was burgled overnight with my only car key taken - my car is still there but I am worried it ay be taken before I can get the locks changed. Does anyone have a car clamp or way or securing the vehicle that I could borrow please?

Many thanks

NB// Also posted in wanted section - apologies for duplicate desperate measures

A bit out there (though not facetious) and would take you some effort to rectify in the morning, but why not let all the tyres down? I doubt that if the buggers come back they will either have a pump with them or be willing to hang around inflating the tyres.

Without wishing to sound like I'm trying to initiate a bromance (I've agreed with RH several times in as many days), I actually think RH's idea is quite a good one! If it's a choice between that level of inconvenience or having your car nicked, I know which I would choose. I should think the AA/RAC would inflate your tyres, or if not a local garage for 20 or 30 quid would probably come round to do it.

    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
