Ok I'm officially a slummy mummy!

Whilst out with baby f I used a muslin to mop up some juice it them went in a nappy bad with washable naPpy... I then went away this weekend & so it sat festering on the kitchen floor in the bag... I went to wash it today & noticed it had mould on it, so I washed it with the nappies etc on 60 but the mould is still on it. I hung it in the sun all day but it's still there... So, is there anything I can do to get it out or has it bitten the dust?

Thanks!

I'm sure we've all been there in one form or another. Husband left a used nappy in a bag I only use once a week. Thankfully it was only a wet nappy, and it was a disposable. But it made my bag smell like a public loo!

For the muslin:

Household chlorine bleach on a 90 C wash. Molds are very tenacious.

(Otherwise, just throw out the muslin.) xx

    • Other local constituents are likely to be less keen on having an increase in noise pollution. Must be a change in wind direction but Brockwell sounds even louder today on the village side of Lordship Lane.
    • It’s just so so loud, I can’t imagine what it must be like if you live right next to the park. I am so stressed by the noise half an hour away! How can this be permitted?
    • You are not the only one no. Local residents are fighting Lambeth through the courts over the increased use of Brockwell Pak for these types of events. And there is the GALA festival on the Rye this weekend, also unbearable at times, although it seems to be a bit quieter today. Brockwell Park is probably more complicated in terms of noise management, because the entire park is on the side of a hill. The Rye at least is sunken in a bit where they locate the festival.
