I am considering getting an au pair starting in September. Having never had one before I'm interested in hearing about the best (or worst) agencies, people's experiences and key questions I should be asking. Advice gratefully received. Many thanks

  The solution for the cost of duvet washing is for each person to have their own single duvet like in Scandinavia. Then you can wash the duvet in your own washing machine. Get a heated drying rack if you don’t have a tumble dryer.
