What will you learn?

In just 3 hours you will learn the basics of first aid and simple life-saving skills including CPR, which will enable you to feel confident to help someone in an emergency and give you the knowledge to save a life!


Course outline

Designed to teach you the essential basics of emergency first aid procedures for adults, children and babies.

The priorities of first aid:

Managing an unconscious casualty who is breathing ? recovery position.

Managing an unconscious person who is not breathing ? CPR

Understand the importance of a defibrillator

Recognise and manage someone who is having;

a seizure

a heart attack or angina

an acute allergic reaction - Anaphylactic shock

Also, managing;

an adult, child or baby who is choking

a head injury, concussion and compression

identify and manage and treat clinical shock.

Learn simple steps which will keep you safe


Our courses are designed to make emergency first aid simple to do and easy to remember. Delivered in a relaxed environment in small groups to ensure that everyone has individual attention, with a combination of powerpoint presentations, video and practical sessions which offer hands-on experience with feedback resuscitation manikins.We use state of the art Prestan resuscitation manikins which provide life-like and responsive training, which gives people a realistic experience of the best "real life" CPR outcomes.


Who should attend this course?

These courses are open to anyone over 16 yrs, and we often get three generations of families attending which is brilliant!


Please note:

To be effective CPR is usually performed on the floor.

This course is a non-certified and therefore not suitable for individuals who need first aid training for a professional or work environment.

    • The toilets are fixed.... It's a breath of fresh air. 
    • I used to go to Dulwich Podiatry but did'nt think they were that good and very expensive I have been going to SE23 Podiatry for about 5 years really fantastic knowledgable team and fairly priced https://www.se23podiatry.co.uk/   the P4 bus stops opposite. I cannot reccomed them enough their head podiatrist even went in on a day when they were closed when I had a very sore toe
    • That is SO naff!! I never go there but still.... It almost makes me want to turn up dressed like 'Honey G' in full on shell suit look accesorised  with a hard hat and a pair of paint spattered workboots just in order for this to 'sedate' 65year old to tell them they need to get a grip or move to Orpington when they tell me I'm not 'suitably attired' and therefore cannot enter their establishment.
