pearl1
This might be a dozy question to a lot of people but I need to phone someone on their mobile in Africa and was wondering (a) Can I buy one of these phonecards anywhere and (b) would I need a particular kind of card? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18588-phone-cards/ Share on other sites
breadcrum45
you could pop into one of the newsagents on lordship, they might do them and you can ask their advise, if all else fails you could go into Peckham, loads of stalls in shop front selling them cards.OrFind out if they can get skype, if they can both set up a skype and talk online for free. Or set up skype for free on your computer and buy some skype credit, gives good rates to landlines in other countries so they don't need to have skype. Inlaws did this wit family in New Zealand and it was really cheap. Best of luck Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18588-phone-cards/#findComment-457135 Share on other sites
Loz
If you can't use Skype, try Telediscount - I use them to ring Oz all the time. You just ring an 0844 number, the cost varies depending on the country, but Australia is usually 2p per min. All prices and access numbers are on their website.
