Meadow spoke with Southwark Council on Monday (which is at least a start) and the following was reported on Twitter by The Independent's football correspondent:

Update: Meadow told Southwark at the meeting today that their stance remains the same. Next step is for Southwark to submit a written offer, but don't expect it to be accepted...

It's an improvement given that Meadow only a couple of weeks said they weren't going to speak to anyone. And if they reject Southwark's next bid, the government has said that they'll appoint an independent mediator to go in ? which is more of a threat to Meadow's position than the Council's. So it's slow progress.
And ultimately, the council can invoke a CPO. So Meadow can not win on this. One way or another they will be forced to sell to the council. It is just a question of how much for. Meadow really couldn't care less about the football club though - and that is perhaps the most ruthless aspect to this.
