We did, but I made the mistake of buying the cot bed size instead of the single bed size. He only used it for two or three months as he had to be moved to a bed after a few head smashing escapes from the cot. It was actually quite good I thought and if it wasn't so pricey would have bought the next size up as well. Really wished I'd bought the bigger one.

It doesn't actually come with the the pillow or duvet so it adds up quickly, but with two children it's a better buy. Aside from the cost I thought it was great. One thing to keep in mind though is if you want more than one sheet you have to buy the whole set as I don't think they sell the sheets separate from the duvet cover. If they do that's great.

It doesn't replace the grobag for escaping though I'm afraid.

I completely loved the system. We had a cotbed so as soon as the sides came off, the grobag zip up duvet went on and we didn't look back for ages. My daughter loved it - obviously she never fell out of bed but she also loved tucking her favourite toys in next to her and them still being there in the morning (i.e. they don't fall out either!). I now have a son and he'll be going through the same system without fail.

Also, when we did finally put her in her big girls single bed, we didn't get the grobag zip ups for that, but just a normal duvet and pillow. We assumed she'd fall out loads having come to rely on the zip ups to keep her in, but in fact she hasn't fallen out once. So I think she's learned the positioning without the pain of falling out due to the zip ups.

It's not cheap, but is one of those things that I'm really happy we spent the money on.

I've always loved grobag products. My daughter never slept as good without her grobag, she lived in the things come bedtime. I was extremely tempted to but the stay on set but as everybody knows it gets extremely expensive. I didn't think my daughter would sleep without it once she grew out of the largest size. Instead of buying the set I now just use a standard cot bed duvet turned round and tucked right under the mattress. Exactly the same, but dead cheap!

Just moved my daughter into the 18-36 mths gro bags, definitely tempted by this once I convert the cot bed to a bed!

They are expensive but not in comparison to the number of gro bags you end up buying!

Does anyone know if you can buy spare covers? Just thinking of the eventuality of bedding getting soiled.

I think I paid about ?50, plus another ?40 or so for the duvet and pillow. None of it worked on the new bed three months later so that ?90 felt like a lot. If you can get it for ?30 I would.

The sheet and pillow case are one piece, with snaps for the duvet cover. I remember it being annoying that you couldn't buy extra sheets at the time but maybe you can now. I had to wash, dry and put back on the bed in the same day which is fine but it kind of sucks.

You can buy extra sheets etc. At least you could when I bought it all. It is expensive, but I knew I was aiming for another child so I would get a reasonable amount of use out of it.

We'd tried the tucking the duvet under etc but our daughter always wriggled enough to untuck it from the mattress. Hence the grobaby purchases.

We use the Grobag Stay on bedding (but just bought a regular duvet and pillow -which we would need anyway. ie not the grobag duvet and pillow). It's working really well and useful if you want to go away and know there will be a single bed there for your little one.

We did also get a guard rail as got one set of grobag bedding and when that's in the wash, we use a regular single duvet cover but placed across the bed rather than lengthways. That way there is more to tuck in at the sides. Our son hasn't fallen out of bed yet.

My little one has just gone into a cotbed. He's spent the last month falling out of the bed and generally waking up very early as cold when the duvet is kicked off. I just bought the grobag bedding and it's great. It pretty much covers him for the whole night although he still kicks a leg out at times But it's working really well. As it has a stitched on pillow case we introduced a pillow which my son loves.

I bought the cotbed size for ?32 thinking when he goes into a single bed he should have mastered the art of staying in bed and under the duvet. We'll use the bedding for my next one so a good investment.

    • Hi Sue you can try to restore your Laptop to a previous restore point prior to last Monday if you have recovery switched on  To restore Windows to a previous date, you can use the System Restore feature. This feature returns your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. It can help fix recent software issues without affecting your personal files.  Steps to restore Windows to a previous date  Click System Restore Click Next Select a restore point (date just prior to last Monday 3pm )  Click Next again Confirm the restore point and system restoration Click Finish Click Restart Open the System Protection tab
    • The person who started the previous thread I linked to said they were Greek, so I presume would be well aware of cultural nuances. The absolute kindest thing I can think of is that whoever started the shop (and I believe there are several shops) was not aware of the meaning of the name. But surely you would not just pluck a name for a new business out of the air? Surely you would make sure it did not have any possible negative connotations, in any language? Has anybody actually asked the shop about this?  As regards this "vegan hot chocolate", I'm bemused. The chocolate powder itself was surely just cocoa and sugar? It doesn't normally have any animal related products in it, does it? So it must have been the milk which made it "vegan", so probably either oat milk or soya milk? I regularly make hot chocolate with oat milk, and occasionally have it when  out. It has never occurred to me to call it "vegan" (I'm not a vegan), and I've never seen it described as "vegan". When I'm out I just ask for hot chocolate with oat milk. It obviously doesn't taste the same as when made with cow's milk, but I prefer the taste. I don't particularly like drinks made with soya milk, which in any case curdles in certain hot drinks, but  most places give you a choice of milk?
    • Good news! A friend with techie knowledge was able to get into the laptop (not physically) and I've now saved the recent unbacked up data onto an external hard drive (and I won't be making that mistake again). Remarkably, whatever he did caused the  screen to spring back to life, and I can actually now  do things on the laptop. However it is in safe mode, and my  friend said not to take it out of safe mode or turn it off, in case I can't get back into it again. Because I don't know what the problem was in the first place which caused the sudden  total and persistent screen blackout, I am worried that  the same thing may happen again. I phoned Which Tech,  as they will now be able to connect to it remotely as they will be able to see the screen, but they don't have an appointment for a week. I also phoned John Lewis again, but they still rabbited on about a factory reset always being "highly recommended" 🙄 presumably because that's what wherever they send laptops to be repaired always does first. Is there any easy way (without potentially making things worse again) to look  into the laptop  history to identify what happened last Monday around 3pm?!
    • Google Translate seems to suggest that arapina is translateable to "negress" in English, which is a bit different in English to the N-word. But I don't speak Greek so don’t know if that's a good translation or what the cultural nuances are, and shouldn't stick my oar in beyond that.  As an aside, the "choco kiss" (schokoküss) that's a bit like a Tunnock's tea cake used to be called a "negro's kiss" in lots of different European countries. It seems like it's been mostly renamed, which seems sensible... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate-coated_marshmallow_treatsl I can't think offhand of any similar stuff in English but I might just be uninformed.
