minder
Three Degrees on now - when will i see you again. Remember a few years ago my sisters and myself performing this at a karoeke (wrong spelling)! Now Hot Chocolate - I believe in Miracles.Been watching Suzi Quatro, Rod Stewart, The Osmonds and Crazy Horses - remember coming home from school at lunchtime and playing this on my records with my sisters.Didn't know that George McCrae who sang Rock Your Baby was in the U.S. Navy but his first love was music. He'd performed since he was young and had one last go with Rock Your Baby which became a worldwide hit. PeckhamRose
I'm recording the series. That way I can skip through the 90% of drivel. Mud were fun, though. brum
Watching these smug, sugary-sweet early shows makes me remember why punk came along like a breath of fresh air (well, a bit smelly really, but you get my drift). Mind you, there were some exceptions, Thin Lizzie and The Boys Are Back in Town for instance. minder
It wasn't all smug sugary-sweet early shows, there was some Rolling Stones etc. We all go through phases and the punk era wasn't one of mine even though friends of mine went through it!I was more into Lovers Rock.
