maxxi Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Sunflowers are one of the hardiest and easiest things to sow and if planted now there is proably still enough time to get a good display in Sept/Oct. Also throwing down a handful of coriander seed (the kind you buy for culinary use) onto roughly forked/scratched/dug-over land will guarantee a fragrant and abundant growth in the unlikeliest of places - it flowers too.
