Hello,

Just wanted to share a good news story about dealing with noisy neighbours. For the last year and a half we have been living with the loud music of our neighbours. After trying to get the council to come over with no success I decided to try another path. I looked on the land registry website to find out who owned their property. It happened to be owned by a housing authority which I contacted and explained the situation to. Within a week a mediator had met both myself and my neighbour (she ended up admiting to playing the loud music). She was made to sign a contract stating that she would not play loud music anymore or risk eviction. I am happy to say that she has been completely quiet for the last 6 months. Hope this advice might help others with this kind of issue.
