My 3 year old is still in nappies as night, which is fine, since she has only recently started sleeping through I am in no hurry to do anything other than let nature take its course.

However she still wears pampers and I lie her down after her bath to put them on - she is fine about this too. I just wonder whether I should be making a feel a bit more big girl by introducing night time "pants" ie pull ups. Esp as she is starting nursery in Sept, don't want her to feel behind the times. We went on a new playdate the other day and the other girl was boasting about how she could go to the toilet all by herself and my little one nearly had an epi when I tried to help her on to the toilet. Growing up so fast!

Should I use night time pants at this stage and which ones are the best? I always thought the pull ups we used during potty training looked really hot and uncomfortable compared to pampers baby dry.

thank you

Susan

Huggies do some (well actually a ton of) night-time pull ups that have characters on them - we call them Princess Pants. They've got sickly sweet princess type ladies on - not my thing at all, but my little girl loves them and they make her feel like they are her special night time pants (come in S, M, L) . They can also be adjusted at the side to make them loose/tight. We've actually grown out of them a little, since we ran out and I just reverted to Easy Up pants which I use in the day for my littlest one.

They do pull up night pants in a size smaller than 4-7 years and are a Huggies brand. To be honest we are using the 4-7 years pull ups for our nearly 3 year old as they seem roomier for him and he prefers them. Have also resorted to using the girls ones on occasion when no boys ones on the shelf!

Alternatively you could try Bambino Mio training pants which is made from a cloth material which we also use at night. My son has been dry for awhile but occasionally has the odd accident and these hold the urine. good luck.

    • maybe u should speak to some of the kids parents who are constantly mugged who can’t get a police officer to investigate and tell them to stick to gb news, such a childish righteousness comment for your self  All jokes aside there is young kids constantly getting mugged in our area, there is masked bike riders going around armed with knife’s, all I’m saying is police resources could be better used, police wont use there resources to respond to car theft but will happily knock on someone’s door for hurtful comments on the internet which should have us all thinking 🤔
    • I recommend you stick to GB News following that last comment.  Hate crime is still a crime.  We all think that we know best.
