Thinkalink with Sir Linkalot

Bell House

Recommended Posts

Come to Bell House to discover Thinkalink, a fun and easy way to remember things. Using memorable and funny "links", Sir Linkalot (Andy Salmon) will help you and your child remember how to spell any word.

Spelling enthusiast Andy Salmon will show you and your child how to create quick and funny rhymes that put the letters in a word in order, making them far easier to remember.

The linking technique, based on mnemonics is a fast and funny guide to spelling. It works! By creating rhymes that put letters in the correct formation, linking can be applied to any and every word. Whether your child is just starting to learn to spell or is a struggling learner they will love learning these clever and pithy links.

Tickets are on a donation basis, so you can choose what you pay to come along! Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/thinkalink-with-sir-linkalot-tickets-3848...

    • Have you a more appropriate nomenclature for those predators?
    • The phone number seems to be that used by several  London boroughs for PayByPhone contact( though, probably incidentally,  different from the one give for phone bookings on the company's own website).  They also say, at https://support.paybyphone.com/hc/en-001/articles/11574881494545-Is-PayByPhone-free: "PayByPhoneParking rates are set by the parking operator and should match the cost of paying at a traditional meter. However, some locations may add a small service fee, typically less than $0.50 (USD) or £0.35 (GBP), which is determined by the parking authority." There's nothing on the signage pictured to imply  that the motorist is contracting with the council to pay any service fee for a stay up to 30 minutes.  I suggest someone asks a councillor, to check what Southwark have to say  and report back.
    • Not to be too gloomy but the SRA are pretty hopeless.  They seem to spend loads of resource hammering easy minor negligence cases relative to serious difficult cases like fraud.  The SRA is itself under investigation: https://legalservicesboard.org.uk/news/enforcement-action-begun-against-sra-following-axiom-ince-review
