Considering hypnotherapy? I can recommend BounceBackHypnosis

I went to see Christine Neillands (https://www.bouncebackhypnosis.com/) about a year ago to help me stop smoking. It worked amazingly (I haven't smoked since), and during the session some other aspects of my life came up that we both thought could do with some more discussion.

Several meetings later, and I can honestly say that the sessions changed my life for the better. Not in a massive obvious way (I'm not rich and famous all of a sudden), but in subtle yet tangible ways.

For example I'm more confident in my own abilities, and much more able to stand up to people that I don't agree with, but in a non confrontational way. Previously I would get angry and frustrated, I am much calmer now, in many aspects of my interactions with the world. I also run a lot, yet had a destructive relationship with my body, which manifested in frequent injuries. My training approach has changed a lot, and I'm now able to really listen to aches and pains, and work with my body instead of fighting it.

I'm posting this here for the same reason I've been verbally recommending Christine to my friends; Life isn't easy and it's not always obvious how to choose the best path through it, if help is just round the corner, why not make the most of that help, and your life.

Happy to answer questions, feel free to message me.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Coming for therapy is such a private and safe thing, I am really humbled that you have chosen to share.

Also for being one of those highly capable people who had the hunch that overcoming your own personal challenges would be the fastest way to stride forward full self esteem ahead. Thank you for taking that leap of faith.

Christine

My experience of having Life Alignment with Christine Neillands has been life changing for me. http://www.christineneillands.com

As a senior clinician working in Specialist Palliative care in London, it is essential that self-care is practiced. My first treatment was back in October 2015 when I had been experiencing gynaecological back pain. This pain disappeared instantaneously after treatment. I have since been back another four times for more emotional reasons and great bubbles of weight have been lifted allowing me to get on with my life and on a better personal path.

Christine is naturally intuitive, very professional and trustworthy. Her practice room is very comfortable, warm and welcoming. This sets you up to feel safe and able to get the optimum out of every session.

Thank you Christine.

I too recently went to see Christine, I initially went for interview nerves and have since returned for further work on issues that came up in our first session. Christine is experienced, intuitive and very skilled in her work. I shall definitely return for more help - I personally found her 'life alignment' advice and work invaluable.

Thanks do much Christine .

I just can?t recommend enough to work with Christine. As I was walking towards her place on my first session, I started to have a feeling in my body, as if I was already taken care of. I felt like I was already starting to get in touch with a part of me that wanted to talk for a long time. Christine helped me breaking the barrier and get in touch with this part of me that was locked in. I definitely feel much more connected to myself. She gave me tools to find my power back, face better my fears shyness and food craving, making me aware of what was lying behind the craving and numbing. I am quite amazed on how much I progressed and how effective are Christine?s tools. I am starting to express and understand better my needs, coming out of my shell day after day. As said previously, it is operating in a very subtle and gentle way, allowing yourself to do one step at the time.

During our session, I felt very safe and understood. Christine is a really warm -kind hearted person who is really passionate about her job and has a deep desire to help and empower people as much as she can.I hope you get to work with her.

Thank you so much Christine for helping me getting in touch with my soul.

Justine.

Justine this is so beautifully written and wonderfully warm. Thank you. The truth is that from our first telephone conversation you have been open and ready to embrace yourself and our work and that has made all of the difference.

Here's to wholeheartedly living life.

Mumof3girlies I love when people who are facing a challenge want to embrace it, so that they can pitch up as authentically themselves as they can. You are one of those people. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it. Christine x

    • Another glowing recco for Jon, he painted our rental flat which after 8 years of a single tenancy was in quite a state. He listened carefully to our requirements, and worked incredibly speedily to deliver us a beautiful job, with real attention-to-detail. I was particularly impressed with how tidy Jon was - he took great care to protect any furniture and flooring and left the place spotless! Highly recommend.
    • Our current councillors follow a rather opposite course, in my view. They certainly don't respect the views of their electorate.
    • The planters would be lovely if only the plants had been maintained once they had been planted. I think it would have been better not to have had them at all than to just leave them with plants in very poor condition. Were whoever installed them hoping that  residents in the relevant streets would look after them?
    • I spoke at the council meeting last night to object. 400 people objected to the development. I, and I suspect everyone else, is not against development, BUT the size of this too BIG to accept. The council is held hostage by the developer who is promising 53 affordable homes. And in return they get to build 360 bedrooms for students. The original plan was all student accommodation. 8 stories is completely out of sync. It’s sets a precedent for future development. They have been taking to the council since 2022.  What did not help our cause whatsoever was Counsellors McAsh and Mwangangye speaking as ward counsellors at the meeting. As the Chair of the committee said, it’s not often ward counsellors attend such meetings. The counsellors will say they didn’t speak for or against the development. However, they did speak up for the benefits of the site bringing more affordable housing to the borough. They asked for a window to have frosted glass to protect privacy. They asked for residents to be consulted during the building phase. So let’s be really clear, they did not say anything about the “optimisation” of the site. They did not ask for the site to be scaled down. Now I know why James would not be drawn into discussing the development before now….   Make no mistake, this development is optimised for profit and the trade off is the developer profits at scale and the council have 53 affordable homes. The Southwark Plan says they should respect the character of East Dulwich. How can an 8 story building be ever respectful to the character of East Dulwich. It’s a hugely imposing building.  Unless we stand up together as a community, then we shall be stuck with it, although I suspect we won’t be stuck with our Labour counsellors for much longer… Feeling let down and disappointed this morning.
