I am pleased to be attaching details of the next MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course that Jonathan Clark is running in East Dulwich.

The course will run for 16 hours. There will be 5 Thursday evenings 7.30pm to 9.30 pm from 1st March to 29th March as well as a one day workshop on Sunday 18th March from 11.30am to 5.30pm.

Courses have been very popular and successful with extremely positive feedback. Jonathan is a very experienced and highly recommended teacher. It's a great way to move forward on a very positive note for self caring and development. A tool for life....

This course will consist of meditation and relaxation techniques designed specifically to help overcome the effects of stress and anxiety.

These well documented MBSR courses are run extensively throughout the UK, pioneered originally in USA by John Kabatt Zin and by Mark Williams in the UK. The approach has been clinically proven to reduce the negative effects of stress and anxiety enabling people to cope better and lead happier lives. In recent years these courses have been widely endorsed by both the medical profession and the media.

If you have already done a meditation course this will be a way of taking the core practice of Mindfulness further. It is also suitable for people with no previous experience of meditation.

Please contact me if you would like to book a place.

The full cost is ?200 (concessions available). This inculdes a course workbook and meditation download/cd as well as a light lunch and all refreshments at the Sunday workshop.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any queries.

Kind regards

Janet

    • These two animals rode past me on Lordship Lane, at high speed on the path, all in black on black bikes. I next saw them inside Sainsbury's riding their bikes up the aisles laughing before taking off towards the park. Their intent was clear. My wife tried to excuse them saying that they are probably being pressured by criminal gangs but it looked to me like they were enjoying themselves too much
    • I’ve got all that! it’s just making you pay for free parking that is free if you pay by phone which then charges you! I put in the free time limit. It still charged me
    • Check your settings on the Paybyphone app and make sure that notifications are off (they seem to have started charging for texting you to confirm the parking and again when the parking is almost expired). I think you can select email to confirm the parking (or exit the app and re-enter it to check current bookings as an alternative way to confirm that the parking booking has worked).
    • Tom is a picture-hanging maestro! He did a great job hanging various pictures including helping me work out a suitable configuration for a stair wall. He was friendly, reliable, punctual and tidy. Highly recommend. My home now looks like an art gallery! Thanks Tom 🙂
