Hello,

We're looking for a nanny to become part of our family, and a family to share with, starting anytime from end of January, but we can be flexible for the right person.

The role is looking after our two fun, kind, loving girls (2 and 5), with a share family's child, 8am-6pm 3 days a week (ideally Tuesday - Thursday) plus occasional babysitting. Duties would include taking and collecting our eldest from school just up the road, preparing nutritious meals, doing home activities and attending play dates, parks, libraries etc.

Reliable, warm, affectionate, fun, calm, patient and firm but fair approach, active, non-smoker essential.

We've experienced two fantastic shares over the past nearly 5 years, so would love to find another great share, as well as another lovely nanny! We'd ideally like to host and are set up to do so with double buggy etc.

I have a reference about us from our last nanny so please pm me if you'd like to know more.

Thank you.

    • That would be a reasonable attitude as regards the management, but my experience is that the posties are doing the best they can but are woefully understaffed (there's no cover for sickness or leave, and some walks have no regular postie assigned) and, despite denials, packages are prioritised over letter post. Posties can only physically carry parcels to far fewer addresses than letters, which means even on existing walks they don't take letters out wit them if they are carrying parcels. Because they cannot walk to the DO (in Peckham) they have to drive there and back, with two or 3 walks worth in each van. Making covering another postie's  walk that much more difficult.
