*Part time childcare required*

We are looking for someone to help with the end of day school run and bath/bedtime for a couple of months for our two children (5 and 3) who attend nursery and school while I recover from a c-section in March.

Ideally, you would start in mid February before the baby is born so the children could get used to the new routine before the baby comes along. You would then take a two week break in early March while my partner is on parental leave and then resume for 4 - 6 weeks while I continue to recover/breastfeed round the clock! I'm hopeful that we would be in some kind of routine by late April and no longer in need of the extra help.

We are hoping to find someone who could help with this 5 days a week, from about 5pm-7/7.30pm each weeknight. However, there is some flexibility for the right person - if, for example, you were able to do 3 - 4 days a week, it's likely we could get family to help out for the extra days.

Rate of pay is competitive. This might suit a nanny looking for some temporary work to boost hours or student with experience in childcare. Oftsed registered is desirable, clear CRB/DBS check essential.

    • Hi my names milly, I’m in year 11 of school, I live in the forest hill area and am looking to do some babysitting jobs. I’m a good cook, i’m good with kids and i’ll most likely be studying, when i’m not tending to the kids, as i am nearing my GCSE’s. Message me if you’re interested and we can discuss further. x

    • How mean-minded to call the creative project of a group of enterprising youngsters, using their time productively 'foul'?  Surely taking the initiative to set this u,p so young people can be outside and exercising is a positive and productive thing to be admired? 'Underage drinking and drugs' are more likely to happen when young people have nowhere to go and nothing to do (plus they can take place anywhere!) . How is a derelict pub better?
    • Please dont redevelop....the skatepark is a  rare place where young kids can chat, connect, and do something outside of the addictive but dull world of the internet. Community is one of our most precious parts of life.
