Otta
I just want the cot to leave our bedroom, let alone the bloody house!!! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18035-ticking-things-off/#findComment-448356 Share on other sites
mockney piers
The mocklet has almost outgrown the cot, but considering his predilection from launching himself from heights I'm not sure he's ready for bed quite yet. Soon though, soon. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18035-ticking-things-off/#findComment-448372 Share on other sites
Belle
Hmm I'm the opposite - I want him in the cot till he's 10, I value the time when I can contain him! ????
It's quite funny - cos at that age for a few weeks they don't get the concept that they can actually get out themselves. BTW Our mini-bed is about 4 inches off the ground! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18035-ticking-things-off/#findComment-448380 Share on other sites

But still very much in baby mode... cot, bouncer, borrowed jumperoo, baby rugs everywhere, Bumbo... ratty
Our cot is just about to come out again as 3 month old daughter is gonna be outgrowing the crib soon! It's going too fast for me! Esp as my darling wife has told me know more kids! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18035-ticking-things-off/#findComment-448487 Share on other sites
Saffron
Hmm we're going in reverse, I'm afraid. Little Saff isn't sleeping in her cotbed, and is now back co-sleeping in our bed. Otherwise she was waking 3+ times a night. At least now when she wakes, I don't have to get out of bed. ryedalema
Little C never had a cot -I personally couldn't stand the prison-esqueness of it all (plenty of time for her to find herself behind bars!). Also - I'm such a short ar*e I had to keep dropping her the last couple of inches (when leaning over the side) - woke her up without fail. Not surprised people dream about falling - maybe they all had short ar*e mums too! mockney piers
My friend is about to have number four. When he asked his partner why they aren't getting rid of the girls' baby clothes as number four will be a boy, she sort of shrugged. He looked weary and defeated as he related this to me. mockney piers
"By that stage I'm sure the clothes are all'grey' anyway" Very funny!!! There is NO WAY he would not realise he could get out of bed. Therefore, like belle, I plan on tethering him to his cot until his teenage years...Just bagged up the newborn stuff for baby 2...but can't quite bring myself to get rid of it yet...blame the hormones!!
