Has anyone done this? With family? Thinking of taking the kids after GCSE's.

Yep, I'd say the world's most extensive heroin producing region known as the Golden Triangle is an obvious family destination!

Assuming it's SE Asia you are interested in touring (as opposed to taking the kids on a post exam opiate run) then I'd say absolutely great!

I've not done a country hopping touring trip as such, but have been SE Asia a number of times (including as a lone traveller) and loved it.

I think it?s pretty safe for families nowadays, and no longer quite as off the beaten track as once was.

This is a group tour, but you could of course make your own itinerary.
