busymum
My eldest girl is starting reception at St Johns in September 2011 but her friends from nursery don't live in the area and will be going to other schools, so she won't actually know anyone when she starts. Is anyone else in a similar situation and would you like to meet up for a 'playdate'? My husband and I will both be at the parents evening next week and looking forward to meeting some of the other M&D's, but my little girl will miss the play date in July as we're on holiday. Please get in touch if you think this is a good idea? We live very close to the school about a minutes walk, it would be great to meet other families who live nearby or further afield. Mrs TP
Pop along to Goose Green playground any school day at 3.20pm and it will be rammed with St Johns and St Clements current pupils and many pre-school siblings! My eldest daughter is in year 5 there and started 'alone' with no nursery friends and it was instantly fine.Good luck.
