Ooh, Wed morning sounds like a great find! I can't do this week (whole host of appts this week!), but am definitely up for following Wednesday.

I saw you heading for pilates last week, Anna, as I waited to enrol Jack on a swim course- some people arrived at 6.30am even though they only started scheduling places from 9! There are just too many kids in East Dulwich!

Can't wait to meet up soon, Sal, xx

Congratulations on the arrival of your little girl Millymoo. So glad to hear that she is home safe and well. One of my cousins has Downs Syndrome and he is wonderful, and brought untold joy to everyone.

I'm childcare free this week so shout if anyone fancies a Thursday afternoon meet up again this week. I might be frazzled by then though!

Enjoy coffee and cake this morning all. I would come but sadly my toddler is likely to cause bedlam...

Hi all

Millymoo, congrats on the arrival of Isabella. It must have been so awful for you both when she was intensive and special care and I am so glad that she is now safe and home with you.

Ruth, sorry to miss the last Thursday meet up at Goose Green - I am about this Thursday and keen to meet up (I also need to pick up my grey scarf from you). My boy is currently beating this laptop with the bar from his brother's bouncy chair having been forced to give up running round the house with a biro. I am feeling frazzled and its only 9.30 on Monday morning!

Can't make coffee this morning sadly Count me in for next Monday though.

Ava still not 100% and I really pushed it with her swimming lesson this morning!!

Won't be going to pilates, I can't dump her in creche like this.. Damn. Will avoid the Gardens too today.

Up for thurs also but will play it by ear with this cold as don't want her to spread it. The winging that accompanies it is enough to frazzle anyone!!

Hi all

Millymoo - huge congrats on the birth of your daughter, Isabella. Sounds like a tough run in but hopefully nowvyou're at home it's all settling down.... To the normal family mayhem!

Can anyone let me know what the children's activity is called bubble something? My search of the forum isn't returning anything for me

Going to Rosendale Stay and Play tomorrow. It's at the Children's Centre attached to the school. Toddler activities whilst it's easy to sit, natter and feed newborns. 10am start if anyone fancies?

Also, if anyone is interested in breastmilk donation check out U.K.A.M.B. King's will do a blood test and provide you with bottles. Then whenever you're ready a courier will collect milk. I promised I'd spread the word as I thought there was not enough publicity. I've just signed up as other half wants freezer for food... not my expressed milk!

if anyone fancies meeting up for coffee/ kids lunch at about 11:30pm on Fri we're around.. let us know.

Have a good week

Anna x

How is everyone doing? I feel bad that I can't make any of the meets that you have, it kinda sucks being a 3rd timer with all the associated school related things which limit my time - and my middle child is quite a lot older than most of yours so we've outgrown toddler type activities.

But anyway, I just thought I'd say hello. Kate is 7 weeks old today and doing really well. A few smiles now which is lovely! We had our doctors checkup this morning and all is fine - she's still little at 8lbs 2, but seems to be tracking along her graph nicely.

Scarily I found myself looking at a mum with a tiny baby today and marvelling at how small it was - Kate looked massive in comparison which made me realise just how quickly the newborn stage passes.

I hope you are all really well - do let me know if anyone fancies meeting earlier in the mornings. Nice been going for a fast walk round the park after school drop off (9:15ish) and would be free for coffee around 10ish.

Hello all,

It's been an age since I posted - so huge congratulations to everyone and welcome to all the lovely new arrivals.

Sal - it was lovely seeing you as I arrived at Kings for my induction- you looked absolutely radiant

which is even more incredible considering your arduous labour. Well done you and hello Isabella.

Hamish finally arrived on Friday 24th at 3.45am, weighing 8lbs 14. He's an absolute charmer....and even has his own twitter account - @ThatChapHamish

Hope to see you all at some point in the next fortnight.

Hey all,

Any suggestions for a with toddler meet up tomorrow afternoon. The weather is crappy so the park may be miserable. I'd happily host again if there are no other ideas...

Saying that I currently have a nap free toddler (please let it only be today) and he may find a toddler onslaught a bit much again!

Hi everyone,

I havnt posted in a while, while i was pregnant i never got a chance to meet any mummys who were due around feb march time mainly becuase i was still at uni and working. but i have just had my little girl Safiyya 4 weeks ago :D so i would love to meet up with other mums, il be 21 this summer so as you can imagine none of my friends have children yet so im feeling quite lonely with baby at home, so would love to meet other new mums and their bundles of love!

having a good moan and swapping tips and stories would be great!

nabz x

hello everyone,

Congratulations millymoo and caroline and welcome little isabella and hamish! Looking forward to meeting you. Also congratulations nabz and welcome safiyya- definitely up for a meet and a moan/ compare sleep deprivation- you may prefer toddler free days though on a monday morning or tuesday! Meanwhile love to meet up tomorrow ruth- no plans at all tomorrow- eek! feel for you with the nap battle- fingers crossed it's a one off... This weather is really crappy, bring on summer and picnics- do you know any good cafe's with play areas? only thing i can think of is peckham soft play but bit hectic maybe and can just see me having to rescue lola half way up with finn in the bjorn! Might go to that cheeky chimps in the morning as went last week but i know you're toddler free in the morning.

Laura x

Hi all,

Laura, what is this cheeky chimps thing? We're looking to do something tomorrow with toddler cousin!

Am up for pm meet, if the weather is ok how about a bike ride/ scooter ride in the park? (the toddlers, not us!)

There is also 'Disney Club' at The Clockhouse if it is raining where the big screen shows cartoons and is relatively sectioned off (I think it's until 4pm)

Ruth, maybe it was the excitement from Stay and play? Perservere with it as Ava skipped a few and I nearly had a heart attack! I just told Ava that it was 'rest time' and left her in bed for the usual length of time. She is now back into her lunchtime naps THANK GOODNESS!!

Hope to see some of you tomorrow

Anna x

Anna- sorry to hear Ava's been poorly- hope all better now. Cheeky chimps is at that centre next to jags ?3.50- just a room full of toys, tents, books, playdoh, etc... Really nothing special but struggle to find things to do on a rainy thurs morning and it's an enclosed space where u can feed little one but keep ur eye on bigger one. Let me know if ur going, might wait and see what weathers like. Lx

I'm actually with toddler all day tomorrow as my nanny has the week off... We went to cheeky c's on Monday though, but to be honest he was pretty happy there!

For an afternoon option the weather is looking a bit better so maybe the rye would be a good plan. The other thing is the herne, they have a children's play room as well as the garden, which would give potential for coffee (or a sneaky glass of wine) drinking while watching smalls play.

Oh no poor you, how exhausting. If it makes you feel better finn's nights have gone completely ridiculous- peaking at waking hourly several times last night! Either afternoon option sounds good to me- shall we see what weathers like in morning?

Herne option sounds good... If weather is ok we could meet in park for a walk/ bikes and then treat ourselves to a wine at the herne!!

Let's hope that the cluster feed =lots of sleep for you Ruth!

I've just remembered that Crystal Palace have a lovely toddlers world session Mon-thurs mornings. But obviously a little drive. Not sure what we're doing in the morning as waiting on weather report! Possible Woodlands Farm at Shooters hill with Ava's cousin.. Or I'll get her to come over this way Will let you know.

Laura are you on new phone number still (ending 077) ?

Ruth, I've got your no I think so I'll text you mine

X

Great. I think we might try out the goose green play group this morning to see what it's like.

Park then wine sounds good. We could even do toddler tea at the pub.

Anna I have your number, but not yours Laura. Lindsay are you still around?

Sadly cluster feed didn't mean more sleep.. Not a terrible night but woke twice between 11 and 7, not liking the new trend.

Laura, hope Finn is just having a growth spurt.

See you this afternoon.

Xx

Hi Thursday afternoon ladies,

Sorry to go quiet - my best friend is finally out of hospital with her little baby who has had jaundice and been in a light box for a week - so I didn't know if I was seeing her today or not, but I am, so I am going to have to miss this Thursday afternoon again. Sorry - love the idea of wine (I mean toddler tea) at the Herne.

I can host toddler tea next week at mine, or am definitely up for doing something.

Anna, you are an amazing source of toddler activity ideas!

L

Did you do Cheeky C's. I go most Fridays and its fab for feeding whilst toddler plays.

Right all, hopefully see you next week.

Hello everyone,

Sorry not to have posted for a while. I was very occupied with marching the streets, mainlining pineapple, acupuncture, pleading etc etc to try and persuade number two son to come and join us. Very pleased to say that 12 days after he was expected, Jonah Freddie was born at 5.09am on 24th February - so technically just still a Winter babies club. Very happy to finally be able to join you with a newborn and I'm really looking forward to meeting everybody. Just about feeling ready to get it together enough to be able to leave the flat and stumble about and will keep my eye on all the meetings to hopefully come and see at least some of you very soon. My toddler's at nursery on Tuesday and Wednesdays which I think is when quite a few of the toddler activities seem to be but I'll definitely try and come along to something, either with or without son number one in tow. Congratulations to all who have had babies recently and see you soon I hope.

Lindsay x

Congrats Urchin! Look forward to meeting him soon x

My newborn swimming lessons start tomorrow... So excited 'Born to swim' at Deptford if anyone is interested. Mandi the instructor is AMAZING... My 2 year old can swim unaided after lessons with Mandi!

Will be going to PowerPramming afterwards and then could meet up in Garden's Cafe for post exercise cake? Anyone fancy meeting there? From 1:30pm.

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend.
