Grey cat stuck up tree

Hi, someone's cat (grey with a red collar) has been up the tree in my garden (11 Buxted Rd) since 10am today. Just on the offchance the owner is reading this. I have tried everything to coax it down except calling the fire brigade!

if it's stuck the fire brigade will stick a ladder up to retrieve it but you may also need the RSPCA.

Unfortunately the fire brigade refuse to come out for cats in trees any more (unless the RSPCA come and decide they're needed). Do you have a ladder? Cats are pretty handy descending ladders, if you lean one up against the tree then retreat indoors it might well use it. Good luck!

Yes, and I wouldn't want to waste their time. I have put my ladder against the tree (although the cat is pretty high up, much higher than the ladder) and left some tempting food in a saucer.

It will come down of it's own accord, it found it's way up there.
