Part Time Admin Role in Brockley ? Planning, Logistics, Customer Services

We are a small but growing creative and eCommerce business based in Brockley who are looking for some part time assistance for our Commercial Director as we expand into the US later this year.

The role would suit somebody with strong organisational skills from an administrative or operational background which could include marketing or events planning. Good Excel skills and a head for numbers are a necessity as the role will involve the use of fairly complex workbooks including pivot tables.

The role is likely to evolve over time, but initially will involve:

? analysing stock levels and requirements

? sourcing suppliers for stock

? ordering stock and ensuring delivery deadlines are met

? liaising with contract packers to co-ordinate product assembly

? assisting with planning for international expansion

? assisting with customer services

The person we are looking for should be calm under pressure, a solution finder, confident and resourceful. We?re a small, close team, so are looking for someone who is happy to muck in and help other members of the team as and when required.

Hours will be very flexible; we are happy to work around the school run, holidays etc but with the US launch scheduled for the summer, hours are likely to increase in June and the first half of July.

    • Yes, it would be great to see them nationalised. Along with the other water companies they seem to have a great business model: -submit a 5 year plan to the regulator asking for yearly price increases to cover the cost of improving the infrastructure and get them to approve it - carry on paying handsome dividends to shareholders and eye watering salaries to senior executives  - fail to achieve the infrastructure targets at the end of the five years, make some excuses and draw up the next plan Magic!
    • Avoid KFH. Agree with other comments that it is best to talk to lots of people.  Also, (not particularly related to the above agent), I wish I had read the reviews a lot more, rather than relying on numbers.  Depending on whether you are renting, letting, selling or buying the reviews often differ a lot depending on the relationship you have with the agent and it is worth checking whether the good/bad reviews match your situation.
