atila the gooner
Now I've got kids of my own, I understand why my parents were really irritated when my brother and I kept asking "are we there yet" when we went on day trips in the car!! Annasfield
I forget that I am and it scares the life out of me to realise;a) I'm driving a car - Wow!!! (it's only been 10 years this year :-S)b) I am totally independent c) I can tell my Mum to eff off.... ::od) my life hasn't turned out the way I expected it to when I was 10. On a slightly separate note, this Saturday a couple of my friends are having a themed party at their house. The theme is "what did you want to be when you grew up" and you have to go in fancy dress. I didn't fancy digging out my jodhpurs and sourcing a mounted police officer's outfit, so I'm not going. And besides, I got a better offer ;-) Does sound like a bit of a laugh though.Funny how things turn out....
