So the government is relaxing the rules to allow local authorities to designate 20mph area more easily, which is considered to be a lesser evil than speed bumps. Well Wood Vale is (or was) a designated 20mph area, which also had low speed bumps, that effectively keeps the traffic down to 40mph.


What is the answer (starting point in this debate is that there are too many arseholes who drive like madmen/women on relatively narrow roads with parked cars, kids etc.
