poppet27
Hi, Would anyone be okay to share what price you paid for a new Victorian style tiled path at the front? Quite a few terraces in East Dulwich have had this done so really keen to know what we should be budgeting, (and how not to get ripped off!) edplumb
Really depends on the size and state of current path, we had ours done by a friend after we purchased the tiles directly and I prepared the concrete slab, our path is 900mm x approx 2000mm. The tiles themselves are not cheap between ?150-?250 per square meter, so your looking at roughly ?500 in materials for a similar size path. Depending on what's there at present you may need a new concrete slab laid so it could take anywhere from 2-5 days to complete at ?200 a day labour. If you can get a similar size path done for less than ?1000 your getting good value but don't be surprised if it is closer to ?1,500. Hope that helps.
