That's where the fun is - or should be...

and having admittedly been weaned on EDF I find the mixing of for sale with business recommendations a little confusing and think you should have a wanted section too. It may be because the EDF was the first of this kind of thing i have used but it does seem that the more sections you have the better.

One can avoid the po-faced drawing room discussions on EDF and stick to tom-foolery in the lounge, buy & sell, ask for stuff, recommend or criticise a business, remark on a local issue, talk property, upcoming events or even talk about the forum itself all in separate rooms which is far more suitable for someone as prone to obsession and bi-polar behaviour as myself.

it was more of an analog to digital transplant necessitating a more binary diet, and am reliably informed that attempted grafting of a WDF or even a NSE15F would have led to rejection, infection and possible partial aphasia leading to a chat-room-only diet of OMG, WTF, LOL, LMFAO etc. (oh and ETC).

::o hehe that was good! ;)

It has long been established that Kleinhond is not the type of person that should be anywhere near a local blog like the Nunhead Forum, let along a keyboard. And yes its in bed with the EDF.

So moving on, people are starting to post here now and it has the potential to grow, there is quite a collective gathering around Telegraph hill, Brockley, New Cross and Nunhead so it may well take off. The Admin are independent and intelligent which makes a change from Klingnuts and his brainless and half baked NH for-rim drivel.

In fact GG is so far (comparatively) surprisingly sane, it's only a matter of time before colours are posted to the mast though (pun intended).

For instance UT managed to be plausibly not Mike there for a bit, though the suspicions were strong.

Maybe, but TT3 was completely hatstand.

besides - he's already getting warnings on those forums anyway

"Hi allfornun. This message is close to breaking our Code of Conduct. I have removed the business' name and phone number you included. We don't object to users bringing business names up in a context such as this, so long as it is done in a constructive and well-backed up manner. Urging people to harass them on the phone is not acceptable.

Perhaps you could support your argument with links to the planning documents, or to photos, which show the site you are talking about, for the benefit of users who won't be aware of the situation? You may be able to rally support and get a few users here to write to the council to get things improved.

Christ on a bike.....its just a new forum with a so far seemingly independent Admin, I post in new cross though?

So what if these people want to post using a variety of avatars, good for them.

Mockney you are coming across like a little school boy on a stool shouting ' listen to me , listen to me , im capatain i tell you, captain " with warm urine running down your leg and soaking into your long brown socks whilst everyone one around you throwns ink soaked toilet paper at your head.

Rules on the internet...please !

As for this wally kleinhond , if someone does not serve him and by proxy this forum with some legal action i would be surprised. If you lot are going to share admin roles then for gods sake go and get some training. His comments in the pensions section could sink you.

    • A govt. research briefing (25 March 2025)  indicates that while higher education student numbers reached record levels in the early 2020's, those numbers are dropping. The rise was largely international students in postgraduate courses who are now being put off by higher university fees and visa costs/issues, whereas the trend for entrants to other undergraduate courses has fallen. Applications for full time undergraduate places in 2024 were lower than the high of 2022. Schools are closing and it is projected there will be fewer 18 year olds going into higher education. Very short term there may or may not be demand for this level of student housing, but a development of this size and scale and impact on the locale must be future-proofed. Are we sure this has been done?
    • Hi everyone! I'm moving house this month so would be super grateful if anyone has some moving boxes that they're happy to part with. I could collect any day from Friday (11th April). Please reach out if you can help, thank you!

This long road has led her to set up her own theatre company designed to support children with the disease. • Well yes.  But only up to a point eu countries have had to spend a LOT of money to accommodate English madness  - and has had to deal with years of incoherent positioning.  It has destabilised the EU as a group - or has at the very least distracted it and consumed bandwidth  which is why Putin was so pro-Brexit. Which enabled other subsequent events - it’s hard to imagine the world as it is now without Brexit.  A stronger EU.  Uk not a mess and in its own after multiple elections and way more prime ministers than 9 years could possibly allow   a stronger united front
