As many of you may already know, we organised a reverse advent calander this year for Pecan, the food bank in Peckham and invited people to bring things to us here at our Barry Road Kitchen or at our event space, fifty seven, on North Cross Road. Our cut off date was last Friday and we proudly delivered the combined donations in 4 huge boxes. Then this week we have had more things delivered so rather than turn them away, and with a very busy schedule, we gratefully accepted these donations however, as we were unable to make a return trip to Pecan in Peckham, we managed to get the final boxes to the Salvation Army in Nunhead.

I, we all, wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and good will. We had hoped the project would have been a success and were overwhelmed by the actual success!

Thank you to everyone, private individuals and local businesses, who helped us exceed our expectations with your generosity.

With very best wishes

Suzanne

    • Hello, I'm from Ireland and would love my children to be able to know the language - I can speak it but I'm not so good at teaching it. If there's anyone local who used to teach Irish at primary school (preferably Connemara Irish) and who'd like to tutor 3 boys aged 7-10 for an hour or two a week please do let me know. Thanks, Sarah
