The Albrighton Centre just opposite the big Sainsburys on Dog Kennel Hill run a Community Fridge.

Food Donations are available for anyone who needs them and they are always happy to take donations of food, fresh and dry from individuals and businesses....If you are wanting to donate locally please just drop the stuff in - there is usually someone on their reception desk.

Food can be taken up to 1pm tomorrow and then re-opens again on 9th January.

Anyone who has contacts in local businesses please encourage them to pass their unused food to the fridge regularly (it is open throughout the year).....

They are also always looking to fundraise for the scheme so anyone wanting to support it please contact Steve or Jackie at the Centre. They are doing fantastic work directly with those who need extra support - I for one didn't know where I could donate locally - now we all do!

Merry Christmas!

Don’t write it off out of hand. It’s an amazing resource that many other boroughs would be proud to have
