Looking for wood cutting/saw service

Hello,

I'm looking for a shop or person who might be willing to cut a couple of inches off of 4 legs that are the base of a chest of drawers. (Note the base would be separate as I won't have assembled the drawer set yet).

Someone skilled with a mitre saw should suffice - I think a handsaw would ruin the edges. Does anyone know of somewhere that this could be done? I checked at B&Q but they only cut large wood pieces that are purchased in store.

You could ask your local wood merchant.....

I've tried the hardware/DIY chains (Travis Perkins, B&Q..) and they don't offer a service like this unfortunately! Only if you buy larger scale commercial wood from them.
