My dark grey new Skoda Kodiaq was hit whilst parked opposite No.5 Dunstan?s Grove between 9.45am and noon today. It was hit so hard from behind it actually moved the back end of the car into the road. Damaged the bumper, wheel arch and one panel.

I have lost my no claims & ?600 excess unless I find the other party involved and I?ve only owned the car 6 days!

It was some sort of large car/van with a loading part/foot ramp at the back (low enough to go under the bumper and lift the car) and probably white.

There were lots of workman there at the time who say they didn?t see anything.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I can't help, just wanted to say I feel for you.

And my suspcious mind suspects that at least some of the workmen know exactly who it was. For which suspicion I have no evidence whatever.

But most white vans in my road seem to have something to do with all the building work going on.

Yes, some things have gone that I loved to use, but if you take a bit of time and are game to try new things, it’s got a lot to offer. At the end of the month we will have an accompanying app that shows you how to use what they have safely a measure progress. I’ve seen the same people as before of all ages and abilities. Don’t write it off out of hand. It’s an amazing resource that many other boroughs would be proud to have
