Hi There - I am about to move to East Dulwich and will be in the catchment for both Heber and Goodrich primary schools. Just a general question really about parents experiences... the good, the bad and the ugly!

Tiny. Depends on the year and when the previous bulge classes were, but I wouldn't be any further than 2/300m or so away to be sure. We were just under 600m away from Heber this time (our closest school), and are currently 31st on the waiting list (so not a hope!). You can check out the actual statistics with Southwark Admissions, and in their primary school booklet (published online).

Wow, hadn't even questioned admission, just wanted to know parents views and experiences of the schools. My eldest son won't be four until end October but was hoping to get him into one of the nurseries in September.

Ah sorry, didnt read your post properly. Both are good schools, I suggest you go on one of the tours to decide which would suit your child best. Getting a nursery place has no influence on whether you get a primary school place btw.

I dont think you can really be in the catchment for both... You will only really get a stab at your closest

Re sept nursery places, these have already been allocated, not sure if there any vacancies let ... Call the schools
