Quess this is my "gab year".first 4 years in asia (India,Thailand,Vietnam,Singapore,Malesia) then 1 year in Egypt,1 year in Greece and 3 years in England and cant wait my next move not sure bout destination but for sure gone by end of this year:)

I worked in Basingstoke for a year after finishing my degree, I guess you could consider that to be a gap year of sorts.

Didn't have a planned gap year; do extended periods of unemployment count? Wondering if I'm on one now...

After school took a short typing course and started work. Did a degree ten years later and worked to put myself through it, so no gap year possible, though not sure I'd have wanted one. Weren't they supposed to be about adding worthwhile charity work to your CV to increase your chances of looking interesting at your first job interviews?
