Hello,

Just to keep you all updated, I have arranged a course but there are only spaces for 5 couples, all of which are already filled - sorry.

I just emailed the guy and then he called me back so it was very easy to arrange and he was more than happy to do it in my house or any other venue.

So, If you are interested then why not call him up and arrange one at yours or get a friend to arrange one at theirs. I'm sure this could be a weekly thing in ED the amonut of interest it's had!

We (NCT mums, dads and babies) had one with Verona at the Gardens (hired the room at the back so a similar idea to the Mag). In particular we did this on a Sunday morning then stayed for lunch - great as Dads can come too. I struggled to find courses which allowed babies at suitable times, and ours are only little and still all firmly attached to us! I found Verona from a recommendation from the forum.

Just an alternative for you if needed.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
