Alarm going off at Jags - anyone know caretaker?

There's an alarm going off at Jags. Did the same last night at around 3.30 am for ages. It's driving me mad. Anyone know the caretaker at the school? I can't go out to investigate as I'm a single mum and Google is no help!

Their alarm has been going off an awful lot lately, the other day it did it for about 3/4 hours. I?m right behind the school so we have all of sudden started hearing it a lot! Wonder if it?s to do with ongoing building works as it?s only become a problem since they started, never heard it in all the years before!

Perhaps they're not aware it's happening regularly and how disruptive you find it if it's out of school hours? You could call them on Monday to let them know and tell them you're going to start calling Southwark's noise team and the police if it keeps happening.

I went round the school in the morning and they were very helpful. They think it was the fire alarm and were getting an engineer in yesterday. Contempt? No. Give them a chance!

Are people suggesting that the alarm was ringing and left ringing because it is an independent school? That this wouldn?t happen if it was a state school?

Thank you for drawing our attention to this. As soon as JAGS Sports Club was notified of the problem, an engineer was called out. It has been confirmed that there is a fault with a smoke sensor and the engineer is back today to resolve the issue.
