Hi, probably the best known one is called Baby Led Weaning by Gill Rapley, you can probably find a cheapish copy on abebooks.co.uk. I found it quite useful, only criticism is that it spends a lot of time justifying the approach - it's more of a "why to" rather than a "how to" (recipes, idiot-proof top five things to avoid etc etc) book. Having said that, it spared me from months of pureeing, and for that I am eternally grateful :)

We've been doing BLW for a month now and I bought both the book and the cookbook. Wouldn't really bother with either - just read the website, it tells you everything that you need to know plus there are recipes if you want them.

I found the cookbook quite useful - think you can get away with just getting that as first couple of chapters talks about what baby led weaning is. The recipes then have meal ideas for the whole family but what I found useful were the recipies and ideas for snacks as my daughter prefers to eat little and often- the bannana muffins being the biggest hit.

    • All good to hear. Cheers BNG If I’m honest, those fliers give off very bland corporate energy   also. Shouldn’t it be a relaunch party instead of a launch party?    hopefully I’m wrong and it’s great
    • The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.
    • A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!
    • Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
