I just wanted to let you all know that Signoria did a fantastic job of hosting my wife Sally's birthday party on the 14th November. The food was terrific and more importantly the owners were extremely friendly and were very accommodating when we were making the arrangements. We kicked-off at 5.30pm and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable affair - did I mention that the food was terrific? Friends who came along were still sending messages of appreciation a few days later.


Anyway, well worth a try. BF

      The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?

      Generator running in The Gardens/Dominic Court

      Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

      Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
