Private chef recommendation request

Recommended Posts

Hello

My friend of 23 years is a chef, who lives locally and would be perfect for this! I recommend him unreservedly having been on the receiving end of 100s of his roasts - all delicious. He owned a pub and ran the kitchen there for about 7 years.

When I recently had a baby, he delivered the most incredibly thoughtful and delicious food parcel which kept us going for three days with restaurant-standard home-cooked food which we just had to heat up. Life-saving!

He has all the kit, has catered for parties big and small and he's an extremely nice guy to boot.

His name is Ollie Farley - mobile no 07796 144829

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
