Water question

If I make up a bottle of boiled water for my baby, anyone know how long this water can remain out of the fridge/at room temperature for?

To drink just as cooled boiled water? If it's been boiled for a couple of minutes and put into a sealed sterile bottle, for quite a while I would guess.. easily a day.

But formula shouldn't be made up with such water of course, because even though the water may be sterile, the powder isn't
