Recommendation - Lordship Flooring on Lordship Lane

I just wanted to thank and recommend Lordship Flooring following a recent job they undertook at our home. When removing the old carpet, the fitters noticed some wiring between two plugs that could have been dangerous and immediately made us aware. We had to arrange for an electrician to fix the problem, so Lordship Flooring came back to our house to lift the carpet in preparation for the electrician, and then returned the next morning to refit the carpet, all at no extra charge.

Fantastic customer service and a great looking and well fitted carpet. Thank you Lordship Flooring, we will be back in touch shortly for a new stair carpet.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
