Goods not priced up

Not a shop I frequent much, but the green grocers next to Red Apples in Lordship Lane, does not appear to have a pricing policy. Son in law went in during the evening and purchased a 1.5L bottle of Highland Spring Sparkling Water and was charged ?2. A couple of days later, different shop keeper, same produce charged ?1.40, Grandson went in yesterday - same product ?1.20

I have always thought that it was a legal requirement to clearly display prices either on the product or on the shelf.

I will not buy something unless it is clearly priced, yet the staff in this shop seem to charge what ever they feel like. Since I purchase my sparkling water at supermarkets (generally cheaper) I have not got a clue of the price in small shops.

Is this worth reporting to the relevant officers at Southwark - or am I being petty?. 80p difference is a lot of money if you are on benefits/pension.
