Capitals
Hi, My son's birthday is coming up soon. He would like to invite a few of his friends. Unfortunately Picturehouse is not showing anything other than Shrek at 10.30that day. I'd be grateful for any suggestions for 12year olds in the area. cactus
Captured on the Rye get lots of recommendations on here, they do screen printing parties forkids. I imagine a group of 12 year olds would enjoy designing and printing their own T shirt? Not so local, but quick and easy from Peckham Rye overground, All Star Lanes in Shoreditch is a great bowling venue. hazelnunhead
What about the extreme aqua splash at the Olympic pool (quite easy to get to on the overground. I have heard good things from children who have been to parties there. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186338-d6440166-r221942367-London_Aquatics_Centre-London_England.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/175154-birthday-party-ideas-12years-of-age/#findComment-1198948 Share on other sites
lousmith
Hi Capitals. Happy to discuss options for a creative party for your son and friends at Captured on the Rye. The older children can really get to grips with the design aspects of the sessions and is a great solution for what can be a tricky age to cater for. Thanks Cactus for the recommendation. Renata Hamvas
Trampoline park such as this one in Stratford (overground than tube with Zip cards) or the Peckham Plex may have something more suitable than Shrek.Renata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/175154-birthday-party-ideas-12years-of-age/#findComment-1199227 Share on other sites
Capitals
Thank you to everyone who made some suggestions. Surprisingly both cinemas (Peckhamplex and Picture House are not an option, as they are either shut or show just the Shrek. Nunheadian
Climbing wall? We took several kids of similar age to the one at Mile End - easy on the ginger line. It was very well organised and they had a great time. Google search shows up some nearer to our area now which might be worth checking out.
