Chess tutoring

Chesstutor

Recommended Posts

My name is Nikolaos and I have recently moved to London from Chios, Greece. I am able to teach chess in English or Greek and have an experience of teaching children. After years of tutoring on Crete Island, I have created a great programme for all ages and different levels. These lessons are especially designed for complete novice players who want to dig into the magical world of chess up to strong club players with ELO rating 1900. Theory, Tactics, Combinations, Positional Play, general Strategic concepts, Openings-Middle Game-Finale are explored and thoroughly analysed through exercises and real games from recent and past Tournaments.

Please PM me if you are interested in a lesson.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
