person knocking door to door re insulation grants?

Had them in Upland Road a couple of weeks ago, two of them, seemed to be pretty thorough going from door to door. I think they are genuine.

They are genuine, but you can find what they do cheaper online.

I've just had these 2 clowns knocking on my door within seconds of each other. I couldn't understand a word of what they were babbling on about, all I heard was 'grant', 'electrician' & 'fuzzy?', so I said no thanks & shut the door lol

Why are they 'clowns'? I had them round tonight, they are genuine, and the gentleman was perfectly understandable. We had our insulation done a few years ago, brought about by these guys from the council stopping by the house - it cost us zilch. Very happy with it. They're only asking questions, if you don't want it just politely decline!
