Seeking NANNY - Full time. Brixton Hill. Re-post

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm still looking for full time nanny to care primarily for baby girl (turning one yrs old in Feb) but also to be at home for older 9 year sister. School drop off / picks up NOT required unless doing a club during winter months which finishes at 4.30pm. The local primary school is less than 2 min walk away.

Need Mon - Fri's 8.30am to 6.30pm (although I often arrive home earlier)

Location - Off Brixton Hill

DBS Required and Ofsted Registered Preferred. First aid also preferred.

Owner to 2 cats and 1 husband.

Baby girl is happy and easy going with a routine. Eats and sleeps well. Enjoys company and playgroup. Older girl very self sufficient and probably won't even require meals because she eats late. Bedtime routine starts at 7pm for baby so no bathing etc required. Usual duties apply, but I have fuller job spec ready to email anyone interested.

Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for your advertisement on EDF.

Recently, I worked as teaching assistant at Launcelot School. At my placement, I realised that I would like to continue working with kids and want to become a nanny for a warm and welcoming family. I am currently with little ones? nanny agency and I?m looking to start work as soon as possible.

I am a reliable and responsible young adult that feels confident in looking after children of all ages. With two dogs at home and a family of 5 brothers and sisters, I?m used to various chores and responsibilities to keep the house running smoothly. I can be trusted to work alone and I?m happy to work alongside yourself to become part of a team.

I have a first aid certificate and a DBS check. If you?d like a copy of my CV and any child care references or further general information, please feel free to contact me via e-mail : [email protected]

I very much look forward to hearing back from you and I?m available at any time of your convenience for a phone or face-to-face interview.

Many thanks,

Devon Wright

    • Thank you both. Inexperience Landlord trying to save  a few pennies - hence no agent involved. The issue is the fact that it is my understanding that without an EPC that is current then they should not have rented the property - far  more to the point and taken rent from me. They commissioned an EPC 4 weeks & I am still waiting for or a copy!!! No gas in property. Well I guess it will be a case of instructing solicitors which I have tried to avoid doing but as they are not responding at all, I have no choice. If I am correct about EPC then it will cost them alot more than refunding me my rent.
    • Went there a couple of weeks ago and had their set lunch menu - very good value and generous portions. Sea bream was delicious .
    • Some years ago, one of our dogs ate something dropped by rubbish bins outside a local café and haemorrhaged. Rushed to emergency vet in Streatham, who suggested that someone, worried about rats getting into rubbish bins may have put down poison. Our dog died the next day. Consequently, any dog we had afterwards wore a muzzle to stop them picking up food.
    • They have been awful for years. I moved ages ago.
