Loft Recommendation

Recommended Posts

Hi, just wanted to recommend Benchmark Lofts. We had our 2 bed terrace loft converted in the summer by Benchmark and we couldn?t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the service we received was fantastic - they were so accommodating as our little one was 12 mths old at the time so they timed the ?knocking of the wall? down part for while we were away and when the original layout of the bathroom looked like it wouldn?t work, they suggested a new layout which is even better. The owner Tom was our point of contact and oversaw the whole project. We could always ask any question, any time and he?s just a great bloke to work with. The rest of the team were great too and really tidy. Thanks

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
