Are you a local business woman looking to grow your business? I am planning to set up a Bird Table Group (https://www.bird-table.co.uk)in East Dulwich from January 2018. This will be a small group 6-8 participants) of diverse business women/owners who meet to share and gain mutual support, learn about themselves and from others, and ask/respond to critical questions...and generally explore ways in which they can develop their businesses with the help of a locally-based qualified business coach who has first-hand experience of the issues you face. Initial commitment is for 3 sessions. For more information please email [email protected] or call me for a chat on 07715 375 133.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
